Good Day I am a very unhappy client, my grandmother bamks with ABSA and has been using your bank for more than 20 years. Unfortunately my grandmother has become one of South Africa's crime statistics as she got robbed, she went to you Vredenburg branch to do a cash withdrawal and the service she received was HORRENDOUS! An extremely old rude lady who should absolutely NOT be assisting elderly people chased away my grandmother because she did not know her ID number - Now tell me ABSA where does it state for me to be assisted I NEED TO HAVE MY ID NUMBER MEMORIZED? Because according to the extremely rude white lady my grandmother is illiterate and will be refused entry into the bank because she can not remember her ID number! The values on your website state that you are "obsessed with the customer" and "We outperform by going beyond customer expectations" but would you say that type of service corresponds with your values ? Disgraced and disgusted that you are appointing people who do not have customer's best interest at heart. My grandmother was at your Vredenburg branch and i am sure it will be easy for you to locate who we are referring to, i want a formal apology from the lady that was assisting my grandmother and i want disciplinary action taken as this is not the first or the last time she treats someone this way.
