Review about Makro SA (Head Office), Sandton

June 4, 2025 - We ordered two air fryers to give to 2 family members as a gift, where one family really needed it as there are kids and they do not have an oven or stove to cook on.
- Upon delivery, we received only one of the items after we ordered two items.
- Day after day, we phoned the Makro store without the problem being resolved.
- We are currently on the 17th of June 2025 and still waiting for the problem to be resolved. We have phoned day to day 2-5 times a day, either we are placed on hold or told we will get feedback, but nothing happens. We send emails to complain, ask management to contact us, but none of my emails have been replied to. We asked for a speedy refund because we are now limited to time in finding them another airfreyer where we can purchase the item at a more trusted store, we asked for them to either speed up reunding process or deliver the other item and still no reply or feedback, i am so disapointed in theservices we recived from makro as regular clienys this is just unaccepltable, we are expected to pay for an item imidiatley but when we ask for refund we have to weight an entitre month just to recive back what we paid for items that wasnt even deliverd correctly ..
We, as clients, deserve to have a refund as soon as possible, just as you expect to have payment immediately, we expect the same in return. instead, we have to struggle with your contact centers and management that are never available when asked for.
I am very disappointed and I am seriously reconsidering my shopping options from now on, this is unacceptable and you have guaranteed lost a good customer.
