The transaction will result in Fixtrade appointing two directors to the board of SA Ladder. To facilitate further value the parties have entered into a separate management service agreement in terms of which the empowerment partners will provide active man-hours participating in operations. Fixtrade shareholders include medical practitioner, Dr. Sello Motaung and practicing attorney Templeton Mageza as well as a women's investment group. The deal was concluded in April 2006. SA Ladder was founded in 1992 by John Duncan, (presently assisted by family members Jonathan, Darren, Cathryn, Lauryn, Stephen and Erlo) and has grown into a company with a national footprint in ladders, castors, access and materials handling equipment with offices throughout the country. The company employs more than 400 people, and currently has in excess of 50% market share in fibreglass and aluminium ladders, trolleys and industrial castor market.

This permanent 4x4 with its powerful MWM 6 litre engine carries driver + 10. With B6 ballistic protection upgradeable to B7, the all-steel armoured v-shaped hull is designed to withstand a TM57 landmine under the hull or two under any wheel. The standard configuration can be easily adapted to various applications and by the addition of turret-mounted weaponry the vehicle can be effectively used as a combat vehicle. The Springbuck® APC is a newly built vehicle using internationally available drive-line components for assured reliability as well as availability of parts. 2. Fox - Light Commercial Armoured Pick-Up: DTM can offer its clients the Fox, a light commercial 4x4 armoured pick-up vehicle, available in Nissan NP300 or Toyota Land Cruiser drive-train. Nyala RG12 - Armoured Vehicle: The welded all-steel armoured hull is of monocoque construction with armoured protection to withstand 7.61 x 39mm AK, 5.56 x 45mm ball, anti-personnel mines, shrapnel mines, grenades and fire bombs. 4.
