GLOSTEEL CC forms part of the GLOFURN Group of Companies. The group was established during June 1996 with the original aim of manufacturing steel furniture. Market research conducted during 2005 proved that an additional garage door manufacturer was needed in Southern Africa . The main reason was that existing manufacturing capacity in South Africa could no longer keep up with demand, hence service levels in the industry dropped alarmingly. GLOSTEEL CC was therefore born in April 2006. Being the youngest fledgling of the Glofurn Group of Companies, GLOSTEEL CC forms part of a Group with extensive experience in the manufacturing of sheet metal and plastic products. The Glofurn Group consists of a number of independent manufacturing companies as well as a few warehousing concerns. Three warehouses today form part of the Group, one in Cape Town , the other in Pietermaritzburg, East London, Tzaneen and Windhoek.. An additional two warehouses will be opening soon in Nelspruit and Bloemfontein.. Countrywide warehouses naturally enable the Group to deliver its products throughout the country much quicker than any of its opponents. Our buying power in the fields of sheet metal and tubing ensures the ability to supply steel products into the market at the right price. We have longstanding relationships with highly reputable raw material suppliers, for example Macsteel and Trident Steel. We also focus on establishing long-term relationships with clients, as opposed to hit-and-run relationships. The Group's extensive experience, which vests in its highly skilled personnel, allows for the most cost effective manufacturing techniques. We also boast a highly motivated work force, and since our inception ten years ago, did only two employees leave our employ. One passed away, the other one retired.

SA Ladder was founded in 1992 by John Duncan, (presently assisted by family members Jonathan, Darren, Cathryn, Lauryn, Stephen and Erlo) and has grown into a company with a national footprint in ladders, castors, access and materials handling equipment with offices throughout the country.
