Myofascial tissue is a web-like structure that runs between muscles, tendons, bone and organs. This tissue can become tight in certain areas that cause movement restriction.
A tendon is a semi-elastic connective tissue that connects a muscle to bone. Tendons can tear, become irritated and rip out of it's anchor. Tendons act like a spring, that stores kinetic energy to absorb load when compressed and recoils when released.
