Born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1968 and raised in Tsumeb, Namibia during childhood years. Completed High School in Cape Town South Africa. I had a passion for cooking since childhood and cooked my first complete meal at the age of seven. With no money for formal training I made a point of learning from the good cooks that surrounded me as child. After military service I worked at a prestigious wine estate outside Paarl in the Western Cape as a Sous-, and pastry chef. Thereafter I started my own catering business and have never looked back. Cooking is not just a job or form of income for me, it IS a deep rooted love and passion. Personal Motto: ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE GOOD EATING AFFORDABLE AND FUN.
