Welcome to Hexberg Cottage. We pride ourselves to offer you self-catering cottages, that are situated on our property, but guests have access to their own facilities, as well as a private entrance. Hexberg Cottage is nestled in the beautiful town of Wellington, in the Western Cape Winelands. Hexberg Cottage lies on the outskirts of Wellington, far enough from the hustle and bustle of central town, but close enough to enjoy your shopping and other amenities. Its tranquil atmosphere will make you feel welcome and will add to a very relaxing stay. Our business originated in August 2021, as a need for overnight accommodation was seen close to function venues and by the business traveler. Starting off with one cottage, the demand snowballed and we are proud to have developed it into seven units.

The stable block and cottage have been converted into five luxury suites - Lavender, Iris, Jasmine, Lily and Honeysuckle. Rooms overlook lavender fields and vineyards on one side, and are centred around a herb garden on the other. Guest House (4 Star Graded) Each room has an en-suite bathroom. Beds are queen-size with fine cotton linen. Complementary wine, flowers and fresh fruit await. A honeymoon suite is available, where a champagne breakfast may be enjoyed from the comfort of your four-poster bed. All rooms are equipped with remote control air-conditioning / heating, colour television, and tea and coffee making facilities. The private verandas and swimming pool take in the spectacular views of the farm and surrounding mountains. An honesty bar is also available. Self Catering Cottage (5 Star Graded) Or enjoy 5 star luxury in our self catering cottage situated in the guava orchard. 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open plan lounge, dining room & modern granite kitchen, complete with private garden and heated swimming pool. The perfect place to just get away from it all. Full English and Continental breakfast is served on the veranda of the manor house, or on the lawn around the swimming pool. Picnic lunches and evening meals available by prior request. We also offer a wide range of wines from the Bovlei Valley and local area.

All rooms have separate entrances, en-suite Victorian-style bathrooms, wall-safes, telephone, air-conditioning, under-floor heating, hand-formed clay tiles, DVD, HiFi with a selection of DVD/CD's, satellite-TV, Filter coffee / tea machine, hairdryer, wine-fridge and a writing desk. One of our rooms is wheelchair friendly. It has a spacious bath, extra-wide doors and everything else in the height to be conveniently reachable from wheelchair level.
