Situated in Riversdale Wallace Anderson Home accommodates seven disabled residents who once lived a normal life (all had spinal injuries) with personnel of sixteen of which ten caretakers and six additional personnel. The Home is an independent Home which is run by the residents themselves without any financial backing from government. Therefore funds are generated by private donations and fundraising projects e.g. a fate, car competition and tea party which are run throughout the year. Wallace Anderson Plastics (the plastic ware shop) and Wallace Anderson Computer Designs (the printing business) are two businesses located on the premises of the Home which serving the local community and is run by some of the residents and assisted by outside help.
