In 2005 the plant was sold to Don Voysey & Russell Welsh and from day one it was an uphill battle as the plant had not been maintained properly and the general safety of the plant was of a very low standard. To get the plant up to standard the entire building structure was refurbished. The salvageable process tanks were refurbished and new tanks were manufactured from high tech materials for the ones that were scrapped. A lot of general process improvements were also carried out in the plant to increased plant through put.
