CONTRACTS DRAFTER (SENIOR AND JUNIOR) - EB - GROUP RISK
With more than 80 years of experience, Group Risk is one of the largest underwriters of benefits in South Africa. My client is a specialist group handling disability and claims management, rehabilitation, claims assessment and management of admitted claims by a panel of medical doctors, occupational therapists and full-time claim assessors assisted by legal consultants. They require a senior and a junior Contracts drafter to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drafting standard and advanced policy documents for new and existing clients for Group Risk Products
Liaising with legal team and product owners to finalise policy documents
Analyze and investigate relevant information to ensure accurate policy documents
Attend to enquiries relating to policy documents and amendments in a timely manner
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Legal degree – LLB (non negotiable)
Matric / Grade 12 with Maths/Accounting
Basic product knowledge and understanding of the Group Risk and /or Retirement Fund Industry
Well-versed in English
COMPETENCIES
Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in a Group Risk or Employee Benefits environment
A basic knowledge of the Group Risk Industry and Underwriting principles.
Relevant experience as a Group risk or Employee Benefits Contracts Drafter will be a distinct advantage.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access)
