Review about Waterworld, Johannesburg
In Ocober 2007 I brought my Seadoo Jetski in for repairs to Waterworld, Randburg. My complaint was that the Jetski had no power and it was smoking alot. I was not sure what could have caused the problem. I was then contacted on 25 October 2007 by G. P. to inform me that the Jestki was repaired, tested and that it was going smoothly. The account came to R13000,00. I went to collect the jetski, paid the amount which was shocking to me and tested it two weeks later at the Vaaldam. It was going fine. A month after I took the jetski out for the 2nd time on the water since the repairs, it had the same problem. I took it back to Waterworld, Randburg. They checked it again and a few days later told me that it was fine now and that I could go and test it. I took it to Vaaldam Dec 2007, tested it and it went fine. However, once again, in Jan 2008 when I wanted to drive it for the 2nd time on the water, it had no power. I phoned Waterworld, Randburg and was told that according to them everything was fine and that I should test it again and maybe check the oil, etc. However this did not resolve my problem. I checked what I could and could not get the jetski going. I contacted G. again and asked whether he could come to the Vaaldam and have a look at the jetski as I can not drive 250km there and back every time. He said no. I was extremely frustrated and kept the jetski in the garage until I could find out where else I could take the jetski. Seeing that I paid SO MUCH for repairs and could not get the jetski going and could not get good customer service from Waterworld, Randburg I lost interest in the jetski and it stood in the garage until Oct 2011. I then decided that if I can't get it fixed now I will sell it. I took it to a mechanic in Oranjeville and just asked him to have a look and tell me what could be wrong. He told me that the springs at the fuel injectors were missing, the spark plugs used was incorrect and the black flaps on top the of engine was placed upside down causing low suction and oil problems. In total it did cost me R2000,00 this time to have it fixed. I have tested it and it is going 100%. I have taken it out on the water 3 times now and it is still going 100%. Now my question is, looking at all the things Waterworld Randburg replaced, how in the hell did they get to an account for R13000,00????? I feel upset and frustrated and can't see how this could have been possible. Was I exploited because of my lack of knowledge on the engine? Something is wrong here. My jetski is here at the Vaaldam. If anyone from Waterworld, Randburg is interested they can come and have a look at it and the km. I want this matter investigated please because I am not satisfied.
