Review about MTN Store - Menlyn Maine Central Square, Pretoria

I purchased an eSIM from the MTN store in Menlyn at the end of December 2025. From the start, it never functioned properly. While mobile data worked, I was unable to receive incoming calls or OTP SMS messages, which defeats the purpose of having a mobile number.
I returned to the store this week to have the issue corrected. Staff performed a SIM swap, but the replacement SIM also failed to resolve the problem. The line is still not fully operational.
This situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial impact, as I have been unable to receive important calls and verification OTPs for an extended period. A mobile service that cannot receive calls or SMS is simply unacceptable.
What is most concerning is that after multiple visits, the issue remains unresolved. I expected proper technical support and escalation to ensure the line was correctly provisioned on the network, but that did not happen.
I am requesting that this matter be escalated to store management and MTN network technical support immediately so that it can be properly resolved. Customers should not have to repeatedly return for the same unresolved issue.
Very disappointing experience.
