I am a local of Knysna, and had a problem with my MK1 Renault Scenic 2.0 liter 16 valve where my fan/serpentine belt suddenly became loose. This whole situation baffled me to my core, as my tensioner was 100% stiff (as it should be and all else in order). The next day I jetted off to Partwise preparing myself to spend money on either a new tensioner or a new belt as funds are tight. Luckily for me a very helpful salesman gave me the most helpful tip that I could never ever have thought of, maybe my belt's sequence is wrong! TO MY AMAZEMENT that was the case. I am so impressed with Partwise, Knysna's knowledgeable staff, specifically Mr. Vernon Appels. He did not only save me money, but my precious time as well.
