We applied for passports for our family of four at the Visa Sop in Dunkeld on 24 November 2011. After paying them R5060, thinking that these people have the abilities to get the passports to us quickly without us having to stand in queues, we have yet to receive them, and it is now 4 months later!! After giving us vague information about one of the photos not being suitable despite the fact that all photos had been taken at the same photo place at the same time, we are thoroughly annoyed and still waiting!!! We have contacted Home affairs directly and have received excellent updates and service from them. Do not use the Visa Shop, they are utterly incompetent and totally unprofessional.
