Review about Ashburne Veterinary Hospital, Durban North
4 years ago
When my wife decline the put our dog down she was verbally abuse my 2 female vets. I was not there at that time. She was told she has no heard and among other words that was used( not disclosed the words in this message) with no energy in my wifes body. She didn't reply. When I return, I was verbally abuse as they trying to force us to put the dog down. And also we were given option of different types of cremations. We never ask about cremations. We want to treat our dog and they giving us options of putting the dog down. My wife administer the dog with a 5ml Syringe and when the vet saw that the dog come back to life. They filed charges against us at the SPCA. The inspector came out and was shock to see a dying dog walking. Description and charge they filed against me didn't match. Note: I was charge R1000 extra for my wife that did administrate my dog herself while waiting for me.
House of the devil. They are not there for your animal well being, but purely for the sake of money when they see that you are in tears and in distressed. When me and my wife brought my puppy in as she was dehydrated and didn't want to walk. We were told that the only option we had was to put her down or a treatment of 5 days with a R6500 deposite, R5000 per day and R1000 per hour physiotherapy. ( open Cheque book policy). I request for a 24 hour care but that was declined. 5 day or kill your dog. Easy money When they see your financial status. Then we were charge for stuff that was never used as we declined the treatment. All test come back negative at a price of about R3300 plus. SPCA does the same test for R170.
