Dear Parents of the community. I would like to know how can any parent recoment this Aftercare to anyone. This is the most unprofessional Aftercare I have ever met. 1. You inform them that your child will be collected afterschool, and then you as a parent need to run around to find your child at the Aftercare without them informing you they have collected. 2. Preparation on test - need I say more, they didn't even know that they were wrighting a test, most of the children was unprepared for the test. Gr3 and they had to study on their own, without assistance. 3. My child had a personal incrdent and she started to say that she's not hungry, then I requested help that they check that she just eats her meal at Aftercare as I informed the school aswell so they can just check that she does eat. And they will only assist when there is time for them to assist (where is the care for the children) 4. I then had a few questions over homework as follow. 1.1 - why is there home done on the back of their time table paper? Don't they have a exercise and test book at the Aftercare? 1.2- why isn't the spelling checked? How are they going to write test unprepared? 1.3- why isn't the homework done for Thursday? As per the owner they do not have time to check, assist and prepare the children on their homework and Test they have at school. They choose play time over homework, when the children haven't done their homework or studies before 16h00 in the afternoon they don't have time to assist them after 16h00 especially when they are doing sport. Without communication to inform me as a parent that they didn't get time to finish the homework or studies. As per inside - when they are not done at 16h00 the teacher closes the curtains, switch off the fan and there are no lights and they have to complete their work like this. In the month we have seen staff come and go more than children attending to come and go. And so I can carry on with a very long review. But I will not recommend this Aftercare to anyone. Unfortunately the way the situation was handled was unprofessional and very personal. My regards
