My son has a learning disability. He is currently in Grade 1 and it is clear that he will not cope in 'big school' due to his poor language development and speech. It is a sad day for any parent to have to learn that his/her child is not 'normal' and needs to attend a special school. It was with great trepidation that I took him to Paarl School for an assessment. From the minute I walked throught the front door I knew I was as the right place. Beautifull and well maintained school building and grounds. The staff, teaching, admin and support staff are very friendly and clearly a breed all their own. You have to experience the atmosfeer to understand what I'm trying to say. After having a look around the school and meeting the teaching staff, I am very positive about sending my son to this school should he be sou lucky to be admitted. We are holding thumbs. Will know by November.
