The purpose of the outrides, is to make more people aware of the type of horse we are breeding. During the Anglo Boer war, about 500 000 horses were killed. We are attempting to re-establish this endemic horse breed in South Africa. We also endeavor to expose people to the exhilarating experience of riding a well-trained horse on open ground. The VTM is also our selling point for the Cape Riding Horse. We offer scenic outrides to the public, fun & relaxation for beginner to novice riders, canter rides for intermediate to experienced riders and the obstacle course for the more experienced rider. Different courses are also available to improve a rider's abilities or to learn more about the horses.

The Burgh Equestrian Centre, an exclusive graded showjumping and dressage venue, situated in Pretoria East, offers limited stabling for the discerning equestrian owner. We offer both graded and training shows, for show jumping and dressage. We are also the approved venue for western for SANESA schools, and for the RHSA (Reining Horse South Africa).
