We are a mere 500 meters from the town center and just three minutes from the nearest beach.

MyPond Hotel is an exciting, newly built hotel on the banks of the Kowie River, in Port Alfred. The car park is dominated by a 10m high Queen Palm and the entrance by a welcoming waterfall feature. You can already feel this is somewhere a little special.The climate is temperate, and during the 2nd World War the Royal Air Force built 5 pilot training schools in the area as they felt that it had the best weather in the Empire suited to training.
