Thandi House is a family-based long-term home run by Mark and Rene Morcom. Caring for the broken and forgotten children of our town, giving them the love and a family every child deserves. We care for up to 25 children including young girls faced with unplanned pregnancy. We view our role as ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ as very important in their lives. Who they are and what they will become relies on our ability to give of ourselves to fill their lives with unconditional love, security and the knowing that they belong. We take every child into our family as our own and they will remain with us for as long as they need us. We do not turn children away on their 18th birthday as many other homes do. We give our children support and love at every stage of their lives into adulthood or until they can stand on their own two feet. A family is forever!

At Sweet Hearts we offer a nurturing home environment for 3 month to 3 year old children. Our main goal in opening this crèche is to introduce childcare with a difference, where the parent has total peace of mind in knowing their child is offered the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, spacious and secure environment. Having found there are many parents seeking a home environment for their little babies yet finding it very difficult to be satisfied with what is on offer, we aim to ease the stress and heartache by offering a warm, passionate, and loving daycare. Our offer includes: • Firstly, for working parents' peace of mind, Sweet Hearts crèche is open all year around, including December Holidays for our little members (we do however close on Public Holidays). • Parent interaction and suggestions for continuous improvement of our crèche: we encourage parents to propose new ideas, or personal requests, as to how we can add to the daily activities of the children. • Each day we send photos of your child, via a dedicated Whatsapp group per class, to the parent to let you know how the child's day is progressing. We interact with parents on a personal level. • Each child is issued a journal where the class caregiver will give weekly feedback to parents about their child's activities, progress, and personal development. • Sweet Hearts staff love their work and will always greet parents and children with a smile.
