Solution focused approach to parenting

19 October 2011
Learn the foundational keys to creating independent, positive, empowered children and an attitude that focuses on the solution rather than the problem. Children are frequently labelled according to their behaviours, this becomes a stigma by which they live, compounding problems and reducing their self esteem. When you use solution focused methods to tackle problem behaviours you isolate and externalise the problem, not the child. This is a practical and simple way to address issues your child is experiencing. When you live within ths context children grow up feeling powerful, capable and are armed with the skills to meet any challenge head on. Many parents want to change negative behaviours but do not know where to start, using a systematic approach breaks down the emotional hype around these behaviours and gives you a clear way forward. Attend a workshop i offer on these skills and learn the process of generating solutions.
