Orchards Farm Cottages is personally managed by Linda and Doug Renecle who will do everything possible to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Guests who do not wish to self-cater can enjoy breakfast in the cozy guest lounge and dining room off the main deck at very reasonable prices. The raised deck overlooks the swimming pool and the river, and the grassed riverfront is a beautiful spot for viewing the abundant bird life, hippos and crocodiles, and to relax in a tranquil environment. There are board games to keep you occupied and a guest library at the guest lounge. We are pleased to announce that we have installed a generator to ensure a full backup power supply to avoid "load-shedding" blues!

Hippo Hills accommodates up to ten guests in five private en-suite bedrooms. Upstairs has three large bedrooms; one double and two twin beds. These lead to a large viewing deck and bar area where visitors can enjoy a sunset drink while watching a variety of bird and animal life. Downstairs has two more bedrooms; one double and one twin. All the rooms enjoy air conditioning, a ceiling fan and an en-suite bathroom. Furthermore, an exceptional view of the Crocodile River from each and every bed makes for an incredible African memory. Eight luxury en-suite rooms set in lush tropical gardens, mainly beneath cool thatch. All have air-conditioning, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Most but not all of our rooms have TVs, but 2 don't for guests proffering a particularly tranquil break. We also have a lovely guest lounge with large TV, DSTV, books and games. We are licensed and have a fully stocked bar. Secure, ample car parking for "reasonable" sized vehicles for your peace of mind. We can arrange day, half day or night tours into the Park, bush walks, day trips to Mozambique¿s capital city Maputo, elephant back and micro light safaris, tiger fishing on the Komati River, golf at either Leopard Creek or Kambaku Golf Club and quad biking. Situated on the Wild Frontier Tourist route through Mpumalanga, Swaziland, Mozambique and Barberton are all ideal day trips and if you¿re happy with a 7 hour round trip, so is the Panorama Route.
