Print Adapts to the Zappar code

Print publishing has been upgraded by the augmented reality mobile app, Zappar. Clicks stores is the latest company to pick up the Zappar trend, and they really ran with it. Their March issue included Zapcodes in a few featured articles, bringing that extra bit of magic to each page.

With an easy to follow step-by-step guide on how to use Zappar, featured on page four of the Clicks mag, and a clear call to action on each page, along with useful and varied “added value” inserts behind each code, it’s no wonder this campaign did so well!

Once the reader downloaded the app and scanned in the Zapcode, they opened the door to so much more than editorial. Print is no longer stationary and Clicks really showed us how it should be done. Their beauty front page featured a tutorial on applying lip colour; the recipes page clicked through to a featured recipe; each code zapped held the chance to win a R500 Clicks voucher.
