The Sudwala caves are also less than an hour’s drive. Restaurants, shopping, curios and bank facilities are within walking distance from us. Four of the bedrooms have satellite TV; hospitality trays with rusks/biscuits and a selection of beverages and refreshments on request. Our rooms also have oil fired heaters with fans in the two first floor bedrooms for the rare occasions when they are needed. Situated at an elevation of 1 400m above sea-level, we have a very mild climate with a constant cool breeze coming to us from the escarpment a mere 750m away All the rooms have white 100% cotton Percale linen on the beds; white towells with pure silk duvets in our Garden (Fleur-de-Lis) suites. When we say we offer ¿luxury¿ accommodation we back up the claim with a 4 Star grading from the South African Tourism Grading Council whilst the prestigious Portfolio Bed and Breakfast publication have accredited us as ¿luxury¿ accommodation. We offer secure, (electronically controlled main entrance gate) off-street parking under a shade cloth carport. Graskop is in the heart of the Panorama Route with Sabie 28km to the south; Pilgrim¿s Rest 18km to the west and a host of waterfalls; God¿s Window and the world renowned Blyde River Canyon (the third largest in the world) stretching from Graskop for a distance of 58 km to the north. There is a 9 hole golf course (with different tees) at Pilgrim¿s Rest and two others at Hazyview, 58km to the east of ¿Westlodge¿. Trout fishing is endemic to the area whilst Graskop, with its undulating hills, is a cyclists paradise. Graskop is also home to the endangered ¿Blue Swallow.¿ There are many walks in and around Graskop. ¿Westlodge¿ overlooks ¿Fairyland¿ which offers 2 and 3 hour walks whilst we are also situated on the Fanie Botha hiking (5 day) trail through the Mpumalanga Parks Board¿s Nature Reserve.
