The Meerendal wines are elegant fruit driven wines ideally suited for matching the excellent cuisine that you can expect at the farm. The legend of Meerendal’s wine & bread began almost 300 years ago … the journey continues at the Manor House restaurant in the beautifully decorated Meerendal Manor House. Each Sunday the Meerendal tables are set with a sumptuous buffet for the family. Come and enjoy a lush arrangement of oven roasted carveries, soups, salads, starters and complimentary dishes as well as a mouth watering spread of desserts. The Deli is situated in our cellar door area and we specialise in a variety of homemade delicacies including jams made from the grapes grown on the farm, rusks, home made biscuits and a variety of other items that will remind you of Meerendal’s hospitality when used at home. A new feature at the Deli and Tasting room and Cellar door sales with its fantastic view from the balcony is the introduction of cheese platters. Our cheese partner is Simonsberg Cheese and we made a selection of Camembert, Gouda, Cheddar and Simonzola cheeses from their port folio to have available as snack platters during wine tastings. The cost is R65 per platter for two persons and will be available during the normal hours of the tasting room.

Our guests can have access to our book and DVD library (French and English), enjoy our separate entertainment/conference room close to the braaï area and relax near the pool in our landscaped peaceful garden. The accommodation includes a Continental or English breakfast served between 7 and 9 am (or earlier on request) but exclude any requested pre-packed lunches, light meals or diners which will be charged extra. Children are most welcome in our establishment. Inside activities and outdoor playing area have been provided for their enjoyment.
