Description
Shikwari Game Reserve has two camps one luxury with DBB and the other a rustic self-catering camp with rondavels. This is a quiet and relaxing, place for a holiday. Close Kruger National Park and The Panorama we are well situated for sight seeing around the area. Game Drives and walks are conducted on the reserve with a trained guide and we are also able to offer Big 5 Safaris to a nearby private reserve.

Owner-managed by the Lawrie family and offering two camps situated in the North Eastern Limpopo below the escarpment with majestic views of the Northern Drakensburg Mountains, The reserve offer view of plain game with walks or drives.
Shikwari’Bush Lodge TGSA 4 Star Rated (NB: only this camp is star rated.)
Shikwari with cathedral-like thatch roof; offers a fully licensed bar, lounge and dining room and is also open to Pangolin guests for meals which should be booked with accommodation or 24hrs ahead and also to use the free WiFi during the day
Five affordable luxury thatched suites; tucked away in the bush are decorated with colonial style furniture and luxurious textiles. Relax on the open veranda taking in the view and cool off in the tranquil plunge pool. Caring staff give a home from home feeling; offering friendly relaxed service in amazing surroundings The suites offer a choice of King or Twin beds both made up with fine percale linen.
Each suite that accommodates 2 adults has a private bathroom and outdoor shower and sitting area plus a small patio. The Wild Fig Family Suite with separate room for children 10 – 12yrs on bunk beds. Included in the luxury accommodation is a delicious 3 course Dinner and full Continental & English Breakfast . Cuisine is a celebration of South Africa and its different cultures and always served with love.
Children from 10yrs are welcome at this camp.
Pangolin Bush Camp (Not yet graded)
A comfortable rustic selfcatering camp with communal amenities.
There is a large family bathroom & outdoor shower, a separate second toilet and basin, fully equipped kitchen and lounge with premium DSTV.
In the garden there is a pool and a boma for braai’s shared between the four rondavels. Each rondavel has a choice of a king or twin beds, a wardrobe, dressing table, chairs and a small fridge with freezer.
This rustic camp can be booked either individually or as a whole for a family get together.
