Upon further investigation, it became apparent that the soil in both areas is saturated, indicating that moisture is being retained in the soil. Our attention turned to the subsoil drain, and upon inspection, we found that soil, dirt, and debris were blocking the subsoil drain system. This blockage allowed moisture to reach the foundations directly, resulting in the accumulation of moisture below the foundation foot. It was found that stormwater was being directed through the subsoil drain system but was unable to escape due to the blockage, leading to the buildup of moisture and bridging of moisture below the foundation foot. This was a direct result of a lack of preventative maintenance. We have supplied you with a quotation to address the maintenance aspects, which was unfortunately rejected by you.
