Thank you Karin for being the teacher that you are. Not only did you give the most amazing theory lessons but when it came to practicals you drew on your own experiences which is invaluable to us as students. You prepared us in every way to deal with the world out there. I would recommend First Class Care Giving at the drop of a hat. Do yourself a favour and attend the Alzheimer's and Dementia course, it is mind-blowing!!!!

I have been learning at First class care giving for the past 3 months,and it has been a great experience. Karin Westphal is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material. her lessons were engaging, useful, she was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. Classes with her have been so worthwhile! she has an amazing way of breaking things down so that they are understandable.
I have learned so much at First Care Giving,She paces the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. So many other classes you just read from a text book but in her classes she asks questions and gets the students to respond which is both fun and promotes faster learning. She's patient and eager to help. I’m thrilled to have found an excellent teacher! First Class Care provides both theory and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive environment. As a student, you feel pushed to learn and helps you to improve.
Karin westphal has an incredible gift for teaching. Her teaching methods are great. Very clear and concise. and always teaches with the intent to help you understand the material,and is one of the best teacher, that I’ve had. Karin is a best mentor , if you want to go far with your career , listen to what she says . She knows what she teaches , You don't only get away with knowledge of what you went there for but you get away with discipline as well . I would like to challenge and or counter react on the 1 star review from Nar Tah Lee.
First and foremost this class is internationally registered and recognized. There's no such thing as spoon feeding, we're there to learn on an international level, study hard and pass with a 75% mark.
The online State Boards exams comes from USA. Too many of us are used to pass on South African standards, being a merely 30%. Karin the founder of First Class Care Giving would never say, she hate humans. She will say, she hate the fact that humans feel entitled to everything, but understand it because the bar is set so low.
Some students wants to cript or buy notes from other students and do not attend class, then come write a certificate test, knowing full well they did not attend classes and get away with it whereas the rest of us must study and learn for exams.
The name of the class tells you it's First World modules that is taught.
That in itself uphold a certain standard especially for us South Africans, that is more & more needed in these jobs abroad as it is advertised all over from LinkedIn to Indeed.
I, myself is a person of colour and I do not perceive the class setting that way. If Nar Tah Lee have sit through a class from beginning to end and listen to what has been taught, it may have change her review, but if you merely go to class to find fault, then purely faults you will get.
As for the students claiming their money back, it can be one of a couple of reasons.
1. They do not attend class daily or weekly(Saturdays)
2. They would be at the 3rd month & only paid deposit (gathering certificates without paying for class)
3. Bought notes from a student that finished the course /class already.
4. Found themselves breaking rules, such as eating in class.
5. Comes late to class, for like an hour.
6. Students must remember all schools, colleges, universities has rules & regulations that needs to be upheld, so does this class. This is not a "drive-by-night" school.
I can go on & on about this school, because it gave me the keys to unlock a better & brighter future.

Karin is one of the kindest people I know .She is not only a amazing teacher ,but also a excellent mentor for all her students .First class caregivers is one of the most outstanding educational institution I have learned from . I personally have had a great experience with karin and first class caregiver .Karin has taught me things with in 3 hours I have never known in my whole life. Karin Westphal is an excellent teacher. She is a gift to us as her students. Her lessons are very valuable. I definitely recommend everyone interested in caregiving to take her classes because she teaches more than caregiving. My darling, you can't even spell and now you want to comment on something that is totally untrue and uncalled for. You were sent there by 5 girls who have caused trouble and accused our lecturer of false accusations. Take your hate and lack of knowledge of our teacher out of your mouth. You were there for what, 5 mins and you made an assumption? Please... go cause trouble elsewhere. Student's who go to our school can vouch your false comments. This school is anything but racist! We are a family 👪!
