Clear Coat is a polymer based see through coating with specific additives to promote film forming and stay clear after curing. It is adhesive promoted and easy to apply, quite different to “Repello”, it is applied with a high pressure airless spray gun. The aim is to create a protective film over most pores surfaces, most probably heavily degraded and weak. Clear coat does not only seal the surface but binds it together into a homogenous structure. Due to the molecular structure of the product it does not only prevent moisture penetration but also the penetration of oxygen which prevents the substrate from weathering or oxidation.
