My daughter-in-law joined me with the wish that I trained her, until they left for Pretoria. Estelle, my young daughter, decided on leaving school that the care and grooming of Dogs was the career she wished to follow. Estelle and I have worked together since 1983. There have been various locations such as Wetton, Kommetjie, Muizenberg where we opened a Salon in Palmer Road and carried a staff of approximately six or eight. With Staff difficulties in 1995 we closed in Muizenberg and moved to Zandvlei, Lake Side, where we had converted a part of the house into a well equipped and comfortable Grooming Salon. My aim, right from the beginning, has been to run a Salon which was completely open to viewing by the Public from outside and inside the Salon. It has been a tremendous success in that Children and Adults have had the opportunity to watch us grooming and handling the Dogs. The comfort and understanding and handling of the Dogs has always been of the paramount importance to us.
