Nthongwa Artz was established in 2017 when the talent and experience of two leading professionals in their fields were amalgamated. Founders Kenny Nthongwa and Mapuleng Kgomasera, with their extensive signage experience, are the heads of the creativity of Nthongwa Artz. Kenny Nthongwa holds two internationally recognized certificates of Adobe Illustrator 2015 and Adobe Photoshop 2015 both of which were acquired through Damelin Correspondence College. He also has NQF level 4 Information Technology (Technical Support) qualification along with a plethora of other short courses such as A+ and N+, Computer Application Technology, Basic Computer Skills, Basic Business Management Skills through a multitude of institutions such as the Small Enterprise Development Agency and Alumni of Centre for Entrepreneurship Business Incubation Programme. He also is an Entrepreneurship & Innovation graduate at the University of the Free State and had undergone several basic business management programmes with reputable entities such as National Empowerment Fund (NEF), Standard Bank Wallet Wise, KTMO, and lot more. His experience in the signage and graphic design industry is monumental, with over 7 years of experience in this industry. He was previously a part of the design company, Jetline, as a junior graphic designer and was also a senior graphic designer at Core Brands, Free State, which is an advertising company that is situated in Welkom. At the end of his journey in the corporate industry, he was a graphic designer at Valos where he gained a lot of experience in sign making and business systems. Mapuleng is an intuitive entrepreneur and innovator with over 5 years of experience in the advertising and signage industry. She has worked in various advertising companies in the Free State in
