They say they are the coldest town in South Africa, but at Sutherland Guest House they will warm-heartedly welcome you. This is a typical Karoo-style house built with stone and sporting a big verandah and thick walls. The house is suitable for two to 10 people and may be hired to a group of people who would like to do self-catering. They can also spoil you with a lovely farm-style breakfast. The rooms have their own bathrooms and the beds have electric blankets for those chilly winter nights. Each room has coffee and tea facilities. In the big lounge and dining room you can relax in front of a warm fire and forget about all your troubles.
