About the Owner:
Charlene Venter is a qualified Occupational Therapist with more than 12 years experience in child development.
She has incorporated Occupational therapy child developmental techniques into our Educare Curriculum, which gives the children at Step Ahead Educare, a definite advantage in the education which they are receiving.
Some people may think that occupational therapy is only for adults; kids, after all, do not have occupations. But a child's main job is playing and learning, and an occupational therapist can evaluate kids' skills for playing, school performance, and daily activities and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for that age group.
This being our objective at Step Ahead Educare– That each one of our learners reach their developmental milestones for their age group.
