Why take a 11 month course in Cake Decorating? My aim is to teach you to practice true Sugar Art - neatness and perfection are the most important factors that will let a client return to you year after year. Doing a short course or a class or 2 will not give you the practice you need to perfect your technique. It is an art form and as with any art form - knowledge and practice = perfection. Learning everything that I have gained through years of experience will save you time and money in the future - instead of wasting money on trial and errors/ You will have the knowledge, training and enough practice and experience to put you a step above the competition after finishing this course. After all the techniques that you will learn and all the practice you receive through-out the year, you will have enough confidence and knowledge to take on any difficult order a client may bring to you. What makes this course exceptional as well - my students start receiving orders with-in the first few months of the course, so you can be making money while studying. You will also receive a lot of tips on pricing, marketing, designing, recipes, etc, through-out the year. At the end of the year you will have a comprehensive portfolio to present to future clients/employers. You will also have many sample cakes to show potential clients as you will be doing the advanced cakes (wedding, fantasy) with dummie cakes in order to keep them. I am proud of every student that have done my course - some choose to decorate cakes as a hobby for an extra income, some have grown and improved their existing cakes/catering/chef/event businesses, but most have started their own successful businesses from scratch- true entrepreneurs!
