Why Choose a Porta Spa Manufactured from 5mm sanitaryware grade acrylic with hand laminated fibre glass backing with a 7 year guarantee. All pipework is SABS approved and joins are welded with high pressure PVC glue. Jets, bottom suctions, air induction controls, on/off buttons and other components are carefully selected to ensure maximum efficiency and the best value for money. (e.g. On/off buttons are not rubber that goes tacky after a while.) Cartridge filters are used and situated in a cylinder either away from or under the spa to eliminate unpleasant odours right under your nose as in the case of skimmer type filters. Where lights are fitted, they are 12 volt lights with interchangeable color lenses (12 volts are safer and you dont have to change a whole light globe to get a different color.) Our timber frames have been improved and tested since 1985 and the best frame for your application will be recommended. Hydro jets used are adjustable directionaly and strength wise. Bottom suctions are safe and situated on the side of the footwell enabling you to remove the last bit of water from the spa ensuring spa cleanliness. No water is left in the cavity of a floor drain. Electrical components are covered by earth leakage and trip switches on seperate circuits. Seperate air swiches are used for each component for easier maintenance. Pneumatic type electro mechanical switches and dial type thermostats are used to operate spa and are longer lasting than electronic switching especially in warm damp conditions.
