Himalayan Handmades have been wholesaling hippie and bohemian clothing, accessories and dharma items, amde in Nepal, to retailers in South Africa since 1992. We have a small warehouse in Pietermaritzburg. Having crossed the Himalayas from north to south on his travels around the world, Stephen Forster realised the potential for the colourful, hand woven and stonewashed clothing he found in Kathmandu. This is a diverse range are either on the fringe of hippy fashion, on the edge of Bohemian freedom or in the centre of hippie-chic. Our clothing designs are all made in Nepal, inspired by the artisans of the Kathmandu Valley, created in the shadow of the mighty Himalayas. Our range has a distinct look to it, combining Nepalese tradition with Western influence to create fashion from far away places. We wholesale woven jackets, grandad shirts, harem pants, hippie tops, hoodies, dresses, psy-trance mini skirts, hemp hats, backpacks, Tibetan singing bowls, bells & Tsingsha chimes.
