Introduction to Light Steel Frame Building This method of building has been tried and tested throughout the U.S.A, Europe, Australia and New Zealand for decades. It was introduced to our shores in 2006 and offers you quality, cost efficiency and speed of building for any low-rise residential and non-residential buildings. This method of construction complies with Rational Design requirements of the National Building Regulations and is approved by both the NHBRC (National Home Builders Registration Council) as well as CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board). Each structure is signed off by a structural Engineer and complies with the SABS Standards Code, SANS 517. All materials used by MOCO Light Steel Framing are quality certified and are SABS approved. We assemble our frames in a controlled environment and inspections are done before they leave our factory. MOCO structures are made up of light steel frames panels (wall panels) and light steel gauge roof trusses. All are manufactured from cold-formed light gauge galvanised steel sections.
