You are most likely aware of the existence and potential spread of Coronavirus - COVID-19 and the resultant impact on economic and social activity. We have been closely observing the recommendations of the health authorities and wish to confirm what we as Negociate Credit Solutions will be making every effort to maintain a healthy working environment for our team and clients. Please help us ensure that your health and hygiene is as important to us as it is to you.
We will be ensuring the following :
- Alcohol hand sanitiser at all of receptions for staff, clients and visitors alike (table talker insisting on hygiene)
- Door handles will be sprayed with disinfectant on an hourly rotation
- Alcohol hand sanitiser in each of the toilets
- Disinfectant used to sterilise cutlery and crockery
Below are a few important general tips to reduce your risk to COVID-19:
- NO HANDSHAKING! Use a fist bump, slight bow, elbow bump, etc.
- Use ONLY your knuckle to touch light switches. elevator buttons, etc.
- Open doors with your closed fist or hip - do not grasp the handle with your hand, unless there is no other way to open the door. Especially important on bathroom and post office/commercial doors.
- Use disinfectant wipes at the stores when they are available, including wiping the handle and child seat in grocery carts.
- Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap for 10-20 seconds and/or use a greater than 60% alcohol-based hand sanitiser whenever you return home from ANY activity that involves locations where other people have been.
- Keep a bottle of sanitiser available at each of your home's entrances. AND in your car for use after getting fuel or touching other contaminated objects when you can't immediately wash your hands.
- If possible, cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. Use your elbow only if you have to. The clothing on your elbow will contain infectious virus that can be passed on for up to a week or more!
- Keep 1m distance between yourselves and anyone who is coughing, sneezing, or displaying any signs of illness. A person with COVID-19, can infect someone standing too close to them with the virus if they sneeze or cough on them as the tiny droplets that are expelled from their nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing may contain the virus.
- Avoid touching your face with your hands especially your eyes, nose and mouth. Our hands are the one part of our bodies that are in constant contact with all kinds of surfaces and therefore can pick up many viruses. It is important that they don’t come into contact with the eyes, nose or mouth as these are the places that the viruses can enter the body.
