Built in the early '60's after the forced removals of people from Sophiatown and Alexandria by the then apartheid regime and under the Group Areas Act. The school is one of the largest in the area. It has Zulu and English as its languages of learning. It is a Primary School that achieves top averages ito results in the district and region in national assessments. Development of infrastructure, sportsfields and buildings is being persued. A hard-working team of staff and parents are behind the excellent results both academically and in sports & cultural activities and programmes.
