Hob nob luxury is a luxury bag brand that Alban, a craftsman from Cameroon, founded in 2018. He started learning to work with leather at a very young age in his home by making belts, putting all his tools under the bed. That is where his love for leather craft started. He then decided to transition from making belts to making sandals. Later, he chose to learn how to make leather bags, which led him to travel to Paris to acquire more knowledge about leather bags. In 2013, he came to South Africa to share his learning. He worked as a manufacturer for some local brands in South Africa for 2 years. While manufacturing for those brands, he realized that there was a gap in the luxury look of African bag brands. In 2021, he decided to establish his own brand
