Dr Audrey Jansen van Vuuren was born in a small town called Lichtenburg in the Northern Cape where she came from humble beginnings and walked to school barefoot with her older brother. She qualified as a matriculant at Hoerskool Monument in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. After finishing her school career, she made herself available for volunteer work in the preaching ministry for 4 years. She is dedicated to helping others on any level possible to increase their quality of life. While managing a general practitioners room's after giving up her volunteer work, her curiosity was stimulated to go into the medical field and she decided to specialize in Homeopathy as it offers a safe and effective treatment for all ailments. Homeopathy is a full time master's degree course of 5 years after which one completes a dissertation in a field of interest. She studied at the University of Johannesburg and completed the course and is registered as a qualified Homeopath under the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa, as well as the Homeopathic Association of South Africa. Her Dissertation was based on the assumption that a lot of Homeopaths use machines based on certain principles to diagnose and treat medical conditions. She completed her research on one of these machines, called The Driver Resonator, based on the principles of sending a specific frequency through the body that is able to cure a certain disease. In this case, Candida albicans infection was treated in a test tube in a laboratory and her research proved that The Driver Resonator is ineffective in the treatment of Candida albicans. Further studies is needed to prove the effectiveness of the same treatment in individuals as there is no scientific evidence to support this theory.
