We sell biodegradable packaging for food. It lasts as long as it's needed - not longer!
All our food packaging is made from renewable plant based materials such as bagasse (sugar cane waste fibre), wood cellulose, corn starch, recycled unbleached paper etc. All our products can be composted after use, reducing waste and protecting the environment. We don't believe disposable packaging should be made from non-renewable, non-biodegradable and toxic materials. Plant-based solutions are so much healthier! Like our coffee cups. Instead of being lined with non-biodegradable plastic like most disposable coffee cups, ours are lined with a thin layer of bioplastic made from lactic acid in plants. This makes the cups watertight, while also allowing them to be compostable after use. Our matching lids are made from corn starch, and are also fully compostable.
