High rack stacker EKX 516 wins renowned design award

For more than 60 years, the iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover has been hosting the "iF Design Award". Until 2014, it was separated into three disciplines: Product Design, Packaging Design and Communication Design. Today, the iF Design Award is comprised of numerous categories in seven disciplines: Product, Packaging, Communication, Interior Architecture, Professional Concept, Service Design and Architecture.

This year, our EKX 516 received the award in the category "Automobiles/Vehicles". The design of the electric high rack stacker impressively reflects our brand values. Furthermore, it emphasizes the particular characteristics of the vehicle, especially the combination of state-of-the-art technology and intelligent solutions for maximum productivity.

In addition to newly developed drive technologies, which make for a quantum leap in energy efficiency (level IE3), the truck features RFID technology for simple system integration. If your requirements change in the future, thanks to this system you stay flexible anytime. Concerning ergonomics, the EKX offers optimum comfort. Moreover, intelligent assistance systems and a custom-built operating system provide safety and efficiency.
