I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Linden, in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. I have a solid background in systemic theory and interpersonal psychotherapy. I hold a BSc (Psychology and Physiology) as well as an Honours in Psychology from the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus and an MA Clinical Psychology from UNISA. My areas of interest include psychological assessment (cognitive, emotional and neuropsychological) and I enjoy working with a variety of psychological difficulties. As a therapist, I see my role as empowering, guiding and enabling people to think about and process change and new possibilties in their lives. I offer therapy in both English and Afrikaans to individuals (adults, adolescents, children, couples and families) who may experience any of the following difficulties: Parenting problems Academic/work-related problems Stress/Anxiety Depression Psychosis/Schizophrenia Dementia Family difficulties Sexual/Physical/Emotional abuse Trauma Relationship difficulties Post-partum depression Difficulties related to life changes (i.e birth of a child, separation/divorce, retrenchment etc.)
