These end goals are pursued in therapy by enabling clients to process and resolve past hurts, gain a greater understanding of personal emotional and behavioural triggers, and optimise the health and positive nature of their interpersonal relationships. I work with clients using an integrated therapeutic approach. As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as "One size fits all". Every person is completely unique with vastly diverse circumstances, contexts and challenges. Rather than utilising any specific "favourite" approach, I develop (in collaboration with my clients), a customised, personalised therapeutic intervention to address the specific presenting difficulty or current life challenge that brings the client to therapy. In this way, therapy is aligned to my client's needs which really facilitates strategic and appropriate work done in therapy. This, in turn, significantly enhances the time- and cost-effectiveness of therapy sessions.
