I'm looking for retailers who are willing to give my product a chance to prove it's market worth.
To give you some details, the product is called Rust Bust, it’s an acid based gel which removes rust and rust stains from a variety of materials. The technology behind it is nothing new, though having the acid in a gel is a fairly new concept with a few advantages. It’s safe to use with no special precautions or equipment needed, non-toxic and biodegradable.
At the moment it’s been marketed towards marine and seaside applications as my company is heavily involved in the marine industry and that’s where most of my sales have been. But it has many other applications as I’ve recently found out by a few musicians using the product from samples I’ve handed out.
As my product is unique and effective, I believe that marketing it through an established retailer can only be a win-win situation. My proposal is to run a small pilot marketing campaign which will confirm market viability of the product and the brand together. At the same time more accurate stock flow figures can be observed.
From my end I am prepared to offer a small stock on consignment to you along with some promotional materials like flyers and datasheets. I believe that by offering the stock on consignment the product will have a chance to prove itself without any financial risk to yourself.
