How is Isotherm made?

Isotherm is a form of polyester, a plastic resin made from recycled PET bottles. Isotherm roof insulation is easy to cut to size and work with and is pleasant to the touch (not itchy) and does not shed loose fibres. It does not absorb water or moisture but will dry if exposed to small amounts. Isotherm is a very resilient product and will not tear or break easily, withstands handling while being transported and being installed. It’s safe to install and has no dangerous compounds or any fumes that are chemically harmful.

Isotherm Fire Classification

Residential and commercial isotherm ceiling insulation has been tested to B/B1/2 classification and is safe to use. It will self-extinguish if the source of heat is removed and will not contribute to any flame spread. It is still considered good practise to keep isotherm away from flames or other flammable sources.
