Zaan Photography, Somerset West

Photography is an absolute passion for me and the lens allows me to look at things from a different angle!

Zaan Photography is based in Somerset West but I do work all over the Western Cape.

My services include weddings / portraits & family / babies & maternity / children & children’s parties / music albums / property & interiors and corporate events.

I do studio shoots and on location.

I am a qualified jewellery designer with a degree in BA Fine Arts (specializing in jewellery design) from the University of Stellenbosch. I worked in the jewellery industry for 10 years as a designer and diamond grader.

My real passion has always been photography!

After doing extensive photography courses, I finally started living my dream and it’s the greatest job in the world! Capturing beautiful photos that says something powerful and create memories and special moments that will last forever!

My photography has a unique artistic and expressive approach and I strive to document all the details.

My photographs have featured in “World of Photography Magazine Volume 2” (2011 – 2012), UK based Magazine, www.photographymonthly.com). Winner of photo competitions, Cameraclub (www.cameraclub.co.za) October 2011 & February 2012 and Helderberg Photographic Society (www.helderbergphoto.com) August 2011.

Feel free to contact me for a quote and go to my website or facebook page (www.facebook.com/ZaanPhotography) for more examples of my work.
