Depending on which Trail option you chose, the trails penetrate deep into the pristine wilderness, opening up a whole new world for both the adventure traveller and wildlife enthusiast. The shorter rides will trail blaze you through the winelands and might touch into the nature reserves and forestry areas.

Some trails lead high into the mountains, where around every corner you can find new views of the spectacular mountain ranges including Simonsberg, Du Toit’s Kloof, Bainskloof, Paarl Rock and Nature Reserve, Franschhoek Valley and Mont Rochelle Mountains all the way around to Table Mountain, Slanghoek, Waaihoek and Ceres. It’s an explosion of mountain ranges in all directions and often in the winter months you will see the highest peeks snow capped. Look forward to crossing small rivers, vineyards, forestry, mountain passes, pristine fynbos, famous to the region. Overnight stays can be arranged on the Vrede en Lust Estate itself or the many neighbouring farms.We like to exceed visitors’ expectations – and we mostly do – having been in operation for 12 years, with user-friendly, high-class machinery suitable for families and small corporate groups.
