Description

Wildlife Paws SOS is a Dullstroom-based non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned South African wildlife. Our main focus is vervet monkeys, baboon and small mammals. We have registered MTPA volunteers throughout the Province of Mpumalanga who are on call to assist to get the animals to either our center or vets. Having this strong volunteer team on the ground enables higher success rates of survival and successful rewilding.

Wildlife Paws SOS is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO Reg: 2026/374601/08), holding MTPA Rehabilitation permit MPB/R/0030 based in the highlands of Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. We are passionately dedicated to the specialist rescue, rehabilitation, and ultimate release of injured, displaced, and orphaned South African wildlife, with a deep-rooted focus on vervet monkeys and small mammals. Working alongside conservation partners like the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre, our mission is to provide expert veterinary care and dedicated rehabilitation to give these vulnerable animals a second chance at a wild life. Our critical operational reach is powered by a highly dedicated, registered MTPA volunteer team strategically positioned to assist with wildlife rescues throughout the entire province of Mpumalanga. From emergency handovers to long-distance transports, our provincial volunteer network ensures rapid response times for animals in distress. As a community-reliant animal charity, Wildlife Paws SOS sustains its daily rescue operations through public donations, corporate sponsorships, and ethical international eco-volunteer programs.
